Why we rethought PETE
From SaaS delivery to customer-owned ITSM intelligence.
From SaaS to customer-owned ITSM intelligence
PETE started with a simple ambition: make ITSM data easier to understand and easier to improve. The analytics worked — but enterprise reality raised deeper questions about data location, control, governance and transparency.
The enterprise reality behind the dashboard
Large organisations need clear control over security, data sovereignty and technology governance. Every additional external platform can introduce friction, approvals and dependency overhead. Many customers asked for the intelligence behind PETE — not another platform.
A different question
So we changed our framing: not how to add PETE as another platform, but how to bring PETE intelligence into environments customers already trust.
Your data. Your environment. Your logic.
Your data: operational ITSM data does not need to leave your governance model.
Your environment: PETE can run in agreed customer-controlled environments.
Your logic: relevant PETE logic can be reviewed, adapted and further developed.
What about AI?
AI remains important in our own development practice, but PETE core analytics no longer depend on external LLM runtime services.
The goal has not changed
PETE still exists to help IT organisations understand and improve real execution. The path changed to fit enterprise reality better.
